Introduction So the first thing everyone here learns about me is that I'm a Jesuit Volunteer. This does not mean, that I am a priest (at 22 I would be the youngest ordained Jesuit in the history of the world). JVC is a lay ministry mostly for people recently graduated from college. We spend a year of our lives living in community with eachother, experiencing a simple lifestyle in communion with the poor, basing our lives in spirituality, and working for social justice. I live with four other incredible JVs in East Nashville, which is actually a really nice place to live. I am bringing back the fine art of hitch hiking, which my generation has really fallen asleep on the job on. After graduating in May I spent two weeks hitching across the country. Our board chair does not approve of my preferred mode of travel.
Interests abolishing the death penalty, playing the cello, closing the School of the Americas (SOA), all kinds of music, reading (one day I'll have the time for some fiction as well as non-fiction), running when I'm not incredibly lazy, baseball, good beer (preferably Guinness) and vegan food, lots and lots of vegan food
Favorite Movies Dead Man Walking, Romero, Casablanca, The Shawshank Redemption, 1000 Black Men Named George, Dodgeball
