| Introduction | Art has always been a part of my life. It wasn't something that I even knew was something special. I just was always able to draw, paint, or make something creative with little to no effort. I remember my parents used to make me draw my own pictures to make my own colouring books, just in a way to encourage my artistic side. It wasn't until I was in my early teens when I realized I could do something that a lot of other people couldn't. Art is just a part of my life. I don't make art to satisfy others, I make art because it's in my soul. I make art because it's who I am, it's what makes me, me. The world I go into once a paintbrush is in my hand is like no other. My style reflects the mood I am in in that particular moment, or something I am longing for, thinking about, or just whatever comes out that day. Art is me, I am art. |
