Introduction	It is said that experience is the best teacher. After acquiring over 60 years of experience, both formal and from the school of hard knocks, I feel qualified to pass along some of the knowledge I've gained to those who may wish to learn from my successes as well as from my mistakes.. As the Germans like to say, "You get too soon old and too late smart." Or to put it differently, "If I had only known then what I know now, perhaps things would have turned out differently."
