| Introduction | I was born in Italy and grew up on a Canadian prairie farm. After university, I married my childhood boyfriend and together we raised two pretty wonderful boys. I was a working mom: first a teacher and then a school administrator in Calgary, Alberta, and then I started writing (mainly happy fiction). When we moved to Vancouver Island, I started painting (mainly happy pictures). I have five delightful grandchildren who keep me smiling. Life has been good to me. |
