| Introduction | Zack received his BA in Creative Writing from UC Santa Cruz in 2010. He currently interns with The Believer magazine and is a regular reporter for Patch.com. His short story "Endangered Species" won the only 2010 Dean's Award issued in fiction at UC Santa Cruz. He has served as an editor to various student publications, and is currently in the process of obtaining his certification as a copy editor at UC Berkeley.
