| Introduction | I grew up as an Army brat traveling in the U.S. and Europe. I have lived in Chicago for 38 years. I have been married to my wonderful husband Matt for 35 years and am a mom of 3 grown children, am a mother-in-law to a beautiful young woman, and I'm a step-grandmom. I was involved in education for 20+ years in varying capacities. I'm a compassionate nurturer and encourager. I am currently involved in mentoring women at my church through our small groups ministry. I love to write inspirational poems. I have been a speaker for women's groups in several churches. My favorite place to go here in the Chicago area is the Chicago Botanic Gardens (anytime of year.) I also love walking along any lake, river, or ocean! I love quiet beauty even though I live in a big city like Chicago! My favorite season is Autumn. It refreshes and re-energizes me. I would love to go back to Paris and take my husband and also visit London. I enjoy music, playing with our dog Charlie and just having friends over for tea and conversation. |
