| Introduction | I've always been crafting every since I can remember. I had a small working sewing machine and made doll clothes and toys until I graduated to a "grownup" sewing machine at the age of 10. I made a dress that won first place in our district Singer Sewing contest. My dad was so proud of me! My mom taught me how to embroider at a young age and it's still one of my favorite things to do. I checked out every craft and fashion book our small library had over and over again. I can remember crushing egg shells and painting them and then making collage pictures, I also remember my dad giving me stamps from his work which I cut up and used for collage work. I still love to do collage work! I am happiest when I am creating whether it is with paper, fabric, buttons, or you name it. |
