| Introduction | My name is Ron and I'm a single parent of three teenage boys. Yes, you may shoot me now! I'm a devout follower of Christ and I hope that my life is pleasing to Him. It's not a religion, it's a relationship. I'm not here to cram Jesus down your throat, but you sure don't know what you're missing if you don't know Him!!! I very much love outside/nature. I own an acre of ground in the middle of Nowhere, USA and I wouldn't take anything for it (unless God tells me it's in His plans to move me, but we'll cross that bridge if/when we come to it). I'm an accomplished guitar player, having played for over 20 years. I'm self-taught, should really learn to read music again, but how many bluegrass musicians read music? I also sing as well. My type of music has fallen out of style, sadly. I'm into the founders of country music such as Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams and Roy Acuff. No offense to fans of modern music, but I can't stand the fake twang stuff being featured on radio today. I suggest you check out the country work of Hank Williams III or possibly Shooter Jennings to see what radio is leaving out! |
