| Introduction | Basically a self-taught artist, I have always been happiest creating. I started my daily heART on January 9th, 2011 although it took me 250 days to start my blog! I needed something to keep me accountable to being creative every day, and making something 365 was just the thing. I have some simple rules for myself: no found hearts - every heart must be created by me (one exception - the cloud!). I try to stay away from simply arranging things into heart shapes and create from a deeper and more thoughtful place. I avoid the temptation to seek out heart ideas so that I can create only from what's in me, not from some outside influence. This has been an amazing journey of artistic growth and commitment! |
