| Introduction | Saving Hand Development Initiative (SHADE-IN) is a faith-based NGO focused on youth education, leadership development, value reorientation and neighborhood transformation which includes community development. At SHADE-IN, we are committed to youth education which includes both boys and girls but we are also a research-driven and needs-based organisation, hence, we focus on solving problems as identified in line with our thematic focus. Advocacy is also part of our approach. We primarily target young persons which include children, teenagers and adolescents as well as families and communities. We are duly incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) since 8th October, 2012 and we have a mission-based approach to our interventions because ours is more than just a passion for social development and impact but it is a call from God. |
