| Introduction | We established our home & Sweetwater Farms on Cape Cod in 1979 to realize our shared dream of owning, breeding and competing with Quality Appaloosas, with natural ability, sound conformation and genetics, style, color and willing, trainable minds. Persistence, dedication, hard work, and a strong love for each other, and for what we do, has helped our rewards be many. We have been blessed with superb horses who collectively have earned over 50 World and National Championships, and National Specialty Awards in events from Halter, Reining, Over Fences, Driving, Saddleseat, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, and more. When an illness led to 13 years in a wheelchair our lives changed fast-although we refused to simply "get rid" of the Appaloosas we'd worked for decades to breed. This life altering injury did open doors for me which I enjoy immensely, such as collecting 1:9 scale Model Horses & top Tack, Riders & Props to create show images using one of the most interesting combinations of art and my continued study of Fenton Art Glass Hen on Nest, Roosters and other Fenton Glass Specials. www.sweetwater-farms.com www.fentonaddict.com |
