| Introduction | WEB STREET, Launched OCTOBER 2008 by scott wayne indiana -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All over the world, talented street artists go to great lengths to create high-quality works of varying materials and proportions, and the images are then circulated on the internet. In this way, a graffiti image or sidewalk installation that might otherwise have been seen by a few hundred people on one city street can now reach millions on the screens of their computers. In using the internet to showcase their work, whether intended or not, street artists are becoming web street artists. Each image on this site is created through the appropriation and digital manipulation of urban settings and street art images found online. Which is to say, these new & original street art images were created for, and exist only on this virtual boulevard.
