Introduction	The Unexpected Twists and Turns was initially a reflection of the people, events and books that passed through our lives. I started this blog in December 2008 when my kids were small. Now, I'm back reviewing fiction, graphic novels, YA and anything else I think like-minded people might appreciate.
Interests	Uncovering new things in my neighbourhood and talking to strangers to see how they see the world.
Favorite movies	Amélie, Nausicaa, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Up, Ratatouille, Coraline, Alice in Wonderland. Films that are girl positive.
Favorite music	Anything Miles Davis
Favorite books	On Chesil Beach (anything Ian McEwan), Bitch Magazine, Persepolis, Paul Goes Fishing, Aya,
