| Introduction | TROY ALEXANDER GOZUM MIANO was awarded as an Outstanding Researcher of Isabela in 2013 by the Faustino G. Dy III Award for Culture and the Arts for his numerous local historical articles which include the Chronological History of Isabela and the Histories of the Municipalities of Cabatuan, Luna, Ramon, and the City of Cauayan all in Isabela. Dr. Miano was a four-time elected Municipal Councilor of Cabatuan, Isabela, former Social Science Instructor at the University of La Salette in Santiago City and the Isabela State University in Cauayan City, and recipient of the Outstanding Councilor of Isabela Award in 2011 and the JCI The Outstanding Councilor of the Philippines (TOCP) Award in 2013. He once headed the Provincial Planning & Development Office of Isabela and is now the Provincial Tourism Officer and Head of the Isabela Museum & Library. |
