Elisaveta believes that the role of an artist is to heal the trauma of the anthropocene. Through her art she conducts humanity to go through initiation into awareness, to choose a harmonious version of the future. She strives to give a person an incentive for a new self. Her style inherits the geometricity of the Cycladic figures, rethinks the abstraction of Brancusi's and Modigliani’s sculpture, and, echoing Chagall's naivety, passes into the era of metamodernism. |
