Introduction	I've got a bit of everything here -- essays; rants; one-liners in homage to the best talk show host ever, Johnny Carson, and chapters from my manuscript, “Blown Job: an Unemployment Odyssey,” which I wrote after I was downsized following 9/11. Equal parts humor, pathos, bathos, and a lot of other words I don’t know the meaning of, “Blown Job” is my chronicle of the absolutely awful, life-changing event that is losing one’s livelihood -- but with laughs. Though I feel strongly about my choice of book title, perhaps I should have opted for something less fraught with meaning. For those of you looking for the Book of Job, or for another search term that begins with a b and a j,(you know who you are), you have come to the wrong place.
