| Introduction | Allow me to introduce myself. At birth, my parents named me Sergey Kulelyaev, for which I am still grateful to them. However, later I committed what many would call a literary crime — I changed my name. Now I am better known as Vadrya Pokshtya. To be honest, I was simply afraid that after you had thoroughly racked your brains over my abstract games and exotic chess variants, you might decide that the best way to end the game would be a personal meeting with the author. To protect poor Sergey from the righteous wrath of the defeated, I invented Vadrya Pokshtya. He, you see, takes all the hits — from both the pieces and the criticism. |
