| Introduction | Hi! my name is Barb and I am in love with life. Spending time with my family and friends is at the top of my love list, followed by (in no particular order) cooking, gardening, writing, and making pottery. Striving toward a "Zero-Waste" lifestyle is a necessity in 2020, as we are faced with horrific climate change events that are fueled by our untethered use of fossil fuels. Unnessesary packaging, particularly with plastic, our wasteful food practices and degradation of our enfvironment caused by factory farming are all issues we can each take a part in changing. No one is perfect, and no one can do it all- but if we each take a little part, we will see great change! This blog is designed to give us some ideas and share good news about tips, techniques we can use, and to share information about businesses who are finding new ways to reduce waste. Join me! |
