| Introduction | This is a blog of my activities in the Society for Creative Anachronism - an educational organization studying the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Within the Society I am known as Ibrahim ibn Musa, al-Rashid, though most folks just call me Ibrahim (or something close to it). My interests span many areas including the history of clothing, sewing, and various fiber arts; the history of medicine and its relation via humoral theory to food and cookery; and fencing/swordplay.
