| Introduction | Who we are, in reverse chronologic order: McKeely: the youngest who is gifted with a great mind and fearlessness in making friends. Nellie: the family dog who is on her own adventure with friends in Idaho. Quarantine in NZ would have tortured her. Joel: a boy with a sense of adventure and a wonderful heart that sometimes knows no boundaries. Kim: social organizer for the trip, and the most experienced at living abroad. Athlete, mom, physical therapist, and a woman with an absolute zest for life. Curt: too slow, can't jump, so no NBA! But I have this really awesome job as a family physician that allows me to work anywhere that there are people! Hence how we ended up in New Zealand. We have moved from the Pacific Northwest (McCall, ID and Bend, OR) to live, work, and play in New Zealand. |
