IntroductionI'm 53 y/o dyke struggling w/reconciling the concept of being Christian and queer. There are days when I know exactly where I stand on this issue; yet other come back and haunt me with questioning everything I thought I knew to be true. There are moments of clarity when I am settled with decisions I have made; conversely, 24 hrs can go by and I'm right back to arguing with God about what IS so wrong about being queer. My bipolar disorder only fuels this process. I am back full circle with all its intended and expected results. I cycle up and down often in as short a period of a couple of days. I barely have the chance to realize that I am in my downward spiral headed towards an eventual suicide solution only to be confronted with being slapped in the face with a manic buzz. BP has now taken a life of its own and is the controlling factor of my every day experience. I never know what I may wake up to find. Also being diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder has created great conflicts in my life. It's not enough just to be bipolar. What a treat for me. When you spilled the milk, did it look like the moon?

Who cares what it looked like. I was too busy grabbing for the paper towels!
