| Introduction | Have you ever stopped to consider what it must have been like for primitive man to survive in the wilderness with nothing but his wits and his will to survive? I have. When I happened onto the Discovery Channel's tv shows "Naked and Afraid" and Naked and Afraid XL," I knew I wanted to learn more about them. They are the only shows on tv to show the true struggle mankind has endured since the dawn of time - to survive against all odds, naked and afraid. As a freelance journalist, who has published articles for more than 20 years, I knew I had to delve in and write about these fascinating shows and the cast members brave enough to take on the challenge. |
