| Introduction | I'm a storyteller. I've had the pleasure of working as a newspaper journalist in NY and in Fl. I'm mother to four. I've had many loves and a few true, good, inspiring friends. I've faced death a couple of times, most recently surviving what I call a "cardiac incident," followed by a quadruple bypass. I've lived unconventionally over the last decade. At present, I'm working on writing a couple of books. I'm a self-appointed recluse, working on figuring out what I'll be doing for the remainder of my life. I dream of organizing a non-profit to raise awareness of women's heart health and health insurance issues. I intend for this blog to be the beginning of the next phase of my life - a life that is productive, prosperous, satisfying, meaningful.
