| Introduction | Porter managed to escape from Chicago in the mid-’80s, settling first in Saint Paul and soon absconding to Minneapolis, where reliable witnesses heard him muttering on KFAI, Twin Cities Public Television, and Minnesota Public Radio. After fleeing Minnesota with his accomplices in 2003, he turned up in Chico, California, doing the same damn thing on KZFR, and writing a column for the Chico News & Review just like nothing had happened. The paper recently gave Mr. Porter the boot, and now this. |
