Introduction	The aim of this blog was originally just to really delve into mine and my then husband's family tree. I'm interested in more than what I was finding on other blogs/sites - just names and dates. I really wanted to try to get to know these people - understand what their lives were like, and what kind of people they were. Now, I'm looking at extended family members and even, when just families who interest me. My particular focus is on New Zealand genealogy, and I'm happy to work with/for others to assist. This blog does go through periods of 'quietness' due to family/work pressure, but it is still very much active - often posts are in draft stage for a while as I'm researching.
