Introduction	Southern born and bred, grandmother of 6 who loves to cook and eat but learned the hard way that southern comfort food just ain't working for me. I'm now livin' la vida lo carb and finding new ways to cook old fashioned favorites. I'm not your sweet, little ol' grey haired granny. I'm still working full time in the public sector, I don't wear an apron, I don't bake and I've been known to add some unladylike spice to my language. I do, however, like to knit and crochet just like your everyday grandma and I do own cats;2 tuxedos and 2 marmalades. Blogging is my newest hobby and I'm hoping to share some good low carb versions of my childhood favorites with others looking to change the way they eat to improve their health.
