Introduction	I’m a journalist major in the Creative Communications program at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am a section editor for OutWords magazine and editor-in-chief of The Projector. I also do freelance multi-media journalism. I love gathering visuals and audio to accompany stories I write. On the side I’m creating a feminist/environmentalist zine called Cockroach that will launch November 1, 2013. When I’m not working or at school you might find me at a Friends of Sherbrook Pool board meeting as I am their treasurer. I might be volunteering for Sarasvàti Productions or hanging out with the Winnipeg Vegan Meetup group. I could be organizing events with the University of Winnipeg’s Women’s and Gender Studies Association or volunteering at the Womyn’s Centre at the U of W. Or perhaps I’m board oping for Panels of Awesome or The Manitoba Sports Report. Nope? Then I’m probably at home with my three cats, a cup of tea and some vegan snacks crafting or reading Chuck Palahniuk novels.
