| Introduction | I have been in the Baptist ministry since 1951. I was 19 when called to my 1st pastorate. Attended Dallas Bible Institute and graduated from the BMA Theological Seminary with an MDiv degree. Married my HS sweetheart in 1952, we had 62 years, 3 months and 12 days of a wonderful marriage. She went home in 2014 following a lengthy illness. We were blessed with 2 children, Debbie and Jimmy, and 3 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons, 2 great-great-granddaughters and 1 great-great-grandson. God has been good to me throughout my life, even in my old-age by allowing me to preach and teach. |
