| Introduction | Living in New York is considered the hub for a freelance writer, but making a mark in the industry is much more difficult than structuring thoughts on paper. For me it's a turning point, branching off from journalism into widescape writing. With more than 20 years experience in the newspaper industry I am ready for such a challenge. Having worked as a journalist for three daily newspapers in Trinidad and Tobago: Daily Express, Trinidad Guardian and Newsday, has exposed me to most every thing possible in life. At present I am pursuing a Certificate in Communication at New York University along with course work in Writing, Editing, Fiction, Creative Nonfiction and Screenwriting as well as working on my first novel. |
