Introduction | I'm a newlywed and happier than I could have ever imagined. The small town in which I live once had a TV program by the same name. I am a middle child, with middle child ways. If you don't think birth order matters, you are bound to be a firstborn. I have been a nurse all of my adult life and recently decided it was high time I branch out and challenge myself before my brain turned to Jello! 30 years in the nursing field, (teaching, administratively, hospital, clinic, mental health, labor and delivery, treatment and rehabilitation, and patient advocate) has served me well and I wouldn't change one hour of my being in the profession for anything. I have learned much and would like to think I have taught much during my "watch." I don't suppose anyone ever stops having the heart of a nurse. However, the time has come for me to once again feel the thrill of experiencing the learning of something new. So....I take with me on my new and exciting journey of knowledge anyone of you who is interested in joining me. For soon I begin a new chapter in my life--the life of a student cosmetologist. |
