| Introduction | I’m a Northern California native with an International Relations/modern history degree from the University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland currently working in mortgage banking in the San Francisco Bay Area. The wider world has been a passion of mine for a long time, and few things excite me more than heading off to a new far-flung destination, be it with friends, family or riding solo. I find East Asia particularly alluring and would happily spend the next decade traipsing from Indonesia to Japan. For now I am happy to sneak away when I can, though, and tide myself over with ski weekends and short haul trips to Tahoe, Santa Barbara, Portland, etc. However, I do have a quarter-life crisis contingency plan, which involves moving to Bali and doing something that's both relaxing and cool (I'm not entirely sure what). |
