| Introduction | B.Arch Tsinghua,Beijing M.Arch AA, London RIBA III, ARB Architectural Consultant, CrystalCG London AA Visiting School Director (Beijing) Assistant Professor, HKU Mr. Gao is a British qualified architect used to practice at Marks Barfield Architects as the monitor of REALM (Research in Emergent ALgorithmic Modelling), during which he delivered many high profile projects including Kew Tree Top Walkway and Rhizotron (Completed in May 2008), before joining CrystalCG London as the Architecural Director in charge of R&D until the end of 2009. In 2006, he co-founded NoDE (Networks of Design Emergence) with 3 other young architects (Xu Feng, Alvin Huang, Duo Ning) / engineers (Duo Ning) to push the design discipline, theory and technique based upon cutting edge digital technology. |
