| Introduction | I grew up in the Midwest and learned to sew on my own. I made doll clothes at first, but by 6th grade was making my own clothes. While at the University of Iowa I sewed for other people. After college I went to work for G Street Fabrics while I looked for a job. I learned how great Bernina sewing machines were and went to work for them. I worked many years in the sewing industry as Regional Sales Manager, but when I had my son in 2003 I choose to stay home. So I miss being around sewers. I quit my job, but I missed being around creative people. became a stay at home mom. Now I want to share my love of sewing with all of you.
