| Introduction | I want the Waitaki District to be the best place in which to live, work and play in. Easily said, not so easy to achieve! But I believe I have the energy, the ability and the proven experience to help us get there! I am standing for the Waitaki District mayoralty because I am passionate about our place - I have spent most of my life here and choose to continue living here. My wife, Kerry and I have most of our family here and I am focussed on giving the next generation as many opportunities as possible. There are too many barriers and increasing costs, yet we are seeing services go backwards. I will be campaigning on creating opportunities for our people and our businesses. I want to take the best from the past and add that to opportunities we have now, to create a positive future. |
