| Introduction | I'm a Veteran of the Iraq War via the U.S Army. I served seven proud years as a medic with several line units and loved every minute of it. As is natural, one chapter in life closes and another swings open.
I left the military to spend more time with my wonderful wife and two boys. This has allowed me more time to pursue my life's passion of making knives and dabbling in wood working. I've spent nearly 15 years working with wood in everything from carving to cabinet making and recently found that those skills were a great building block for my knife hobby. For the past two years I've been making fixed blades either by stock removal or forging. The latter being a bit more time consuming. One spark at a time I've come to love knife crafting more than I ever thought possible. And thanks to my wonderful supportive wife, I'm able to delve as deeply into this hobby as humanly possible.
