Introduction	Funded by the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, the Iraq IT Interns Program funds internships, matches candidates to positions, and supports them during their exchange. This program introduces interns to some of the finest IT companies in the U.S. and allows participants to return to Iraq equipped to help develop the nascent Iraqi IT industry. AED, in coordination with the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, focuses on giving participants skills to perform IT-related tasks, and teaching them how to build a company using tools that are readily available via the Internet.
