| Introduction | I'm a radiologist in three major hospitals in Metro Manila by weekdays. On weeknights, i enjoy the company of family and pets(5 cats, 1 dog, lots of koi, 1 painted turtle, finches, 1 rescued owl). I also keep a mini garden in my window sill. I used to have a weekend garden in Lucban, Quezon but lost it. I'm a botanist/gardener/naturalist by heart. I have USDA zone denial. I try to grow seeds and bulbs from non-tropical environments. Some grow successfully, others barely germinate. Still others i'm still waiting for that sprout. My favorite plants/trees: dama de noche, narra and dita trees, impatiens walleriana, four o'clocks, gloriosa lily, Sandersonia aurantiaca, jade vine. Perhaps my ultimate gardening goal: grow a japanese maple in my garden. |
