Introduction | I have worked with food almost 2 decades. My romance with food begining after spending a large amount of my youth in the deli run by my mother and grandmother; Entranced by the exotic smells of hanging meat, mould coated cheeses and fragrant olive oils not normally associated with the deep fried Mars Bar culture of Glasgow's suburbs. After immigrating to Australia I started working in the Melbourne restaurant scene where I soon fell in love with the quality and variety of produce available. I moved to the Mornington Peninsula to follow my passion for food and desire to be closer to the producers of the regions delicacies and the artisans who work with them. |
