Naturally occuring in the soil, Rootgrow is a Friendly Fungi called mycorrhiza which pairs up with host plants for mutual advantage. Plants that are treated with commercially available mycorrhizal preparations outperform non-treated specimens with remarkable results. Mind you, using Rootgrow doesn't mean I don't have to roll my sleeves up - I'm still waiting for an invention that relieves me of the aches and pains of a hard session in the garden!
