| Introduction | Hi! My name is Megan Duncan. I am married to a wonderful and supportive husband, Dustin Duncan. We have been married almost 12 years. We have two daughters, Kailey and Kendall. They keep life busy and interesting. I have always loved children and education. I team-taught K3 for 4 years while in college at UAB. After graduating in 2009 with my B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I was blessed with a first grade teaching job at Chalkville Elementary. I LOVED it! I taught for 3 years until the birth of my daughter. I was very fortunate to become a stay at home mother for 6 years. While at home raising my girls, I could not completely step away from education. I became the director of the Children's Sunday Morning Small Groups at my church, The Church at Bradford Road; I tutored and led the story time at the Springville Library until 2015 when my second daughter was born. In 2016, my twin sister had her only child and I was able to also keep her at home. In 2018, with my youngest and my niece starting preschool, I went back working in the classroom. I am on my second year of teaching 4k! |
