| Introduction | First time Mom over 40, after trying for over 12 yrs. Retail Guru with a specialty in Merchandising. Sold clothes to the rich and famous every where from Prada to Target. From Chicago,Colorado, Nashville, Cali all along the coast- San Fran to Laguna Beach. Even before the economy took a nose dive, moving to San Fran taught me alot about my once wasteful lifestyle. Now I'm a "co-sleeping, breast feeding, cloth diapering, baby wearing, stay at home Mom". Once an impulsive brat that chose only designers, I'm now "uber" cheap. I try to look like a million bucks without spending more than $20. I'm artistic and now want to make it instead of buy it. My entire life I've lived Downtown. A glam lifestyle, shopping at the nicest shops, eating at the finest restaurants, dancing at the coolest clubs, never waiting in lines. I grew up in high rise apartment buildings with only elevators as my playground. This big city girl now lives in the south in a suburban house with a yard, on a lovely lake and feels truly blessed. Moving in less than a year ago while pregnant, I now have a 2 month old. Therefore, the remodeling has barely begun and now have a child attached to my chest. So I write... |
