Introduction I was born in London England in 1949 and came to Australia in 1956 when my parents toured with the D'Oyley Carte Opera Company. We stayed and eventually settled in Sydney. I have always been a singer and took up guitar at age 7 and have been playing and performing ever since. I was a successful boy soprano and landed my first professional role at age 12 playing The Artful Dodger in the original Sydney season at The Theatre Royal in Sydney. I followed this with the role of Freidrich in Sydney season of Sound Of Music at The Tivoli Theatre. Then came a number of offers to join various bands and I enjoyed success with many top groups. At 15 became musical director of Sydney Uni Architecture reviews and met Grahame Bond, later to become Aunty Jack, Peter Weir, now Hollywood movie maker, Geoffrey Atherden, acclaimed writer of Mother and Son, and other luminaries. Following a number of theatre shows I landed the role of Thin Arthur in The Aunty Jack Show and also played Peter in the original Oz cast of Jesus Christ Superstar at The Capitol Theatre in Sydney. Over the years I have performed in many TV and stage shows and written music for film and television.
