| Introduction | Scott and I have been married for 16 years. We have 3 beautiful, intelligent girls. Rebekah and Sarah are homegrown, while Carissah is from China. Scott is brilliant in math and science, so he is great at his job as an Electrical Engineer with the Federal Dept of Energy. I stayed at home with our girls for about 8 1/2 years, before going back to work part-time as our church's preschool director in Fall 2013. I quit my job in Fall 2015 when I no longer had a preschooler - I thought to get a job teaching at our local community college, but little did I know God was preparing the way for me to take care of our very special child Carissah who was diagnosed with MPS VI October 2, 2015. I love spending time with my family! We like to watch Netflix and movies, we all read a lot and enjoy serving together in our church. When I have a bit of down time, I love to read good Christian fiction. Thanks to regular Bible study with ladies at church and our small group, as well as the book group I joined about 8 years ago, I read a lot! |
