| Introduction | I want this blog to be a place where people can come edify themselves about the music that doesn't get the mainstream hype. The hype that is normally set aside for artists and bands that are money makers, and marketing tools.
I'm not naive. I understand why the industry is the way it is. I just feel like there are many bands out there that deserve recognition and for their music to be heard that don't necessarily have the means to reach a wider audience. I hope by starting this blog, I can purvey some music you haven't heard before. Some music that is different from what you're used to. I've done all the work, all you have to do is listen. The music I'll be featuring will primarily be from the progressive, indie, hardcore, experimental, electronic, and rock genres. Music is a major part of my life, so this blog is something I take very seriously. Please leave comments that are topical. I'm looking forward to sharing some music, and hopefully hearing about new bands from all of you. JMMP. |
