| Introduction | I started my career as an apprentice with Vidal Sassoon in London in 1967. I had the great fortune of working with top names in the business and my work appeared regularly in many well-known fashion publications, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. Six years later, I became a partner and creative director at Joshua Galvin, one of London’s most distinguished haircutting schools. I traveled extensively in Europe, training stylists on the latest techniques and trends in hair fashion. In 1977, I came to the U.S. and joined Regis Corporation as an artistic director, working to establish the artistic team and technical program. It’s extremely satisfying to work with such a talented creative team to continue to position Regis as the leading authority in hair fashion. Today, after more than 33 years, I still love what I’m doing. |
