| Introduction | So, here's our family blog! Well, another one. I've lost count of how many blogs I've started over the years, inevitably letting them linger and fall into Internet oblivion for the rest of eternity.... When it comes to blogs, mine are kind of like cats: they have 9 lives, they eventually die a not-so-traumatic death and then come back to life again. I think my attempt at blogging is on life number 4 or 5 at this point.... To date, Buttons 'n Doubloons is by far the most successful and long-lived blog I've started and kept up with, which isn't saying much as I've only been blogging for three months now (since September).... LOL My last attempt at blogging began when I was pregnant with our first son in order to keep family and friends up to date on our newest and most exciting adventure, but that ended abruptly when Ethan had colic that lasted three months. And when that stage eventually passed, all the wind had pretty much been sucked out of our sails. In any case, here I am again, and with higher hopes for my newest resurrection. I hope it brings those that stop by some laughter or smiles, and that it makes our family feel more involved even if we live farther apart. :] |
