| Introduction | As a teacher, my passion lies in nurturing the potential of every student. I believe that education is not only the sharing of knowledge, but also the development of curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. My approach to teaching is anchored in creating a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and stimulating. I have a deep interest in teaching Aotearoa New Zealand Histories in my classroom. I believe that examining the link between history and our capacity to influence the present is essential for empowering students to actively participate in shaping their world. I am eager to investigate how I can inclusively incorporate both New Zealand and global histories into my teaching practice and extend this approach across our school. |
