| Introduction | I'm using this blog to work on my memoir. So far, I've posted the Prologue, The Triangle, Big Grandma, War At Home and On The Front, Death Times Two,Coney Island, The Charlotte Russe, Pigeons, Donny and The Struffoli Wars. Lots of my story ideas are on bits of paper and very disorganized. Everyone says, just keep writing, so I am. I've written four cookbooks: The All-Natural Sugar-Free Cookbook; The Oat Bran Cookbook; The World's Greatest Peanut Butter Cookbook with Jack Maguire; 366 Healthful Ways to Cook Leafy Greens. Through the years I've written for a bunch of food Magazines. Cooking Light still has my Beef Carbonnade (chosen for Back to the Best) on their website. | Interests | Cooking, reading, dancing, music, politics (thrilled Obama was elected), hanging out with all sorts of people (especially my remaining relatives), nostalgia. I try to adhere to the principles of The Course in Miracles and fail everyday. |
| Favorite movies | All the original Dracula, Werewolf and Mummy movies. Anything with Bill Nighy. I'm a movie-hound--way too many to list. |
| Favorite music | Classical, especially Chopin; All Rock 'n Roll; the Beatles (I was in love with George);HATE Country Western. |
| Favorite books | Gone With the Wind, The Vampire Chronicles (loved Louis), Gilead. There have been books that I couldn't put down, but I'll be damned if I can remember any names! Through the years, have read every self-book and spiritual tome I could find. I'm a poor student in these realms. |
