Occupation | retired, but busy |
Location | Atlanta suburb, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, originally from Paris 9eme, France |
Introduction | Born and raised in Paris (9eme,) France, (from a Parisian mother and Armenian father from Istanbul, Turkey) I immigrated to San Francisco in the early 1960s, just for the fun of it, where I met my husband and lived for 10 years. We then lived for decades in Greater Atlanta, Georgia, with our two daughters. Now I am still living in Georgia and also moving to Nashville, Tennessee. I have been back to Paris 61 times since the 1960s to visit family (I have dual citizenship.) An avid world traveler since childhood I visited 66 countries and islands so far (not counting trips to France) on a budget. My last trip with my husband was in 2016 as his Alzheimer’s disease was progressing. He passed away in October 2018. When I am writing on a subject I like to explore it fully, whether it is the history of a place or of an event - my posts can be a bit long and detailed and I like to post many photographs. I am interested in many subjects and enjoy sharing my findings in my posts. This is an eclectic blog. |
Interests | Love travel - I am a bookworm; enjoy good music, good art and photography. I knit and crochet when I have spare time and when my little grey Korat cat, Mitsouko, let me. I also love to visit historical buildings. Am interested in world politics and cultures. |
