Gender Female
Occupation too many
Location Atlanta suburb, Georgia, originally from Paris, France
Introduction Born and raised in Paris, France,(from a Parisian mother and Armenian father from Istanbul, Turkey) I immigrated to the USA, to San Francisco in the early 1960s, just for the fun of it, and lived there for 10 years - now I live in Georgia, USA. (I have dual citizenship.) But have been back to Paris 59 times since the 60s. Since childhood I have been an avid world traveler (58 countries and islands so far) on a budget, and continue to travel with my husband as often as we can find deals. When I am writing on a subject I like to explore it fully, whether it is the history of a place or of an event - my posts can be a bit long and detailed. So I post only once a week or more to allow ample time for them to be read. I am interested in many subjects and like to include my findings in my posts. This is an eclectic blog. NOTE:. Please do not copy my pictures without permission. Most of the postcards I use in my posts are over 100 years old, not covered by copyright laws. The newer postcards come under the “Fair Use” of the U.S. Copyright Law. This applies to some of the photographs I may find on the web - if I know the authors I shall publish their names.
Interests Love travel - I am a bookworm; enjoy good music, good art and photography. I knit and crochet when I have spare time and when our two cats let me. I also love to visit historical buildings. Am interested in world politics and cultures.
