| Introduction | In May 2012 I was challenged to race a 5k with my kids. They were 10 and 12 years old and immediately started trash talking how bad they were going to beat their Dad. I'm proud to say that they didn't even though it took everything I had to win! 371 days later I had lost 80 pounds and qualified for The Boston Marathon. I'm proud to say I've been able to go back every year since 2014. Along the way I learned to swim at the YMCA in "Adult Swim Lesson" classes and jumped into the world of triathlon. |
